DARK THIRTY got off the mark for his current yard with a zestful effort at York's Dante meeting and a 6lb rise might not prevent him from following up. The six-year-old has defied this mark before and he has a solid chance with the ground in his favour. Fandom (third) and Russet Gold (fifth) reoppose from that race and must be taken seriously, while Strike Red is better than he managed that day on the Knavesmire (10th) and is dangerous to underestimate.
