Verdict
SEATHEGULLS was fancied for the Brocklesby and showed up well for a long way before fading into seventh. He should know more about what is expected of him and is marginally preferred to El Lambo, who displayed some ability at Newbury. Archie Watson's two-year-olds have hit the ground running so Kodi Bear colt Alpe d'Huez tops the list of interesting newcomers.
